hi can anyone please help me?


i installed skype for linux on my kodibuntu system
it does work from ssh, but when i open it in kodi, it doesnt show up...

ill show the ssh version first
skype and it pops up, i can call and video works
now in kodi i made an custom shortcut...
<--- VNC

custom shortcut to launch a skype.sh scripts.
which containts...
just the word skype.
the kodi does respond to the call,,
but then kodi take 1/4 of the screen and the rest goes black, no skype popping up,
is it even possible to do this, this way?

Perhaps because your post makes very little sense? Explain again?

There's a good chance that no one knows how to easily do this. I don't. I think there's some generic app launcher add-on that works for Ubuntu, but I would have to look for it.
