Yatse remote control app has a similar function. It allows you to send content to kodi (images, music, videos) from many apps even browsers by using the share button.
You may need to install addons according to the source you'll stream from, so for example if you want to send videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion to Kodi from your Android phone with Yatse you'll have to install YouTube, Vimeo and Dailymotion addons in Kodi.
