Good evening i hope you can help me....
I am having difficulty with files playing on my local network, certain files play fine but most just stutter and there is a major AV out of sync problem, this typically only happens with files that are around 900mb. My setup consists of a HDD with a Ethernet port attached straight to my router, a fire TV stick connected with wi-fi to this router and a vanilla kodi. I've got the videos on my kodi through SMB sharing.
Ive tried playing around with various settings, changing routers and also connecting the harddrive through usb in to my router all to no avail. If im streaming files from the internet no matter what size/quality the video runs fine its just local files on my network.

I have since tried it through kodi on my laptop and it works fine that way just not with my fire tv stick
