Way back when I was creating nfo and local image files for use with popcornhour.

Now, with kodi and the internet, there are much better sources, but I still have all my old data/files. Kodi imports everything OK, but is missing poster data until I refresh for a specific file.

At that time, I say ignore local and refresh from Internet and all is good.

The question is, is there a way to ignore local nfo files or am I better served by deleting them? Then Only adding them when something does not id correctly.
If I remember correctly Kodi uses NFO in preference to online if it finds one. Rather than delete them you could always just rename to some other extension e.g. album.nfo becomes album.nfo1, Kodi won't notice them and easy to switch back.
Thanks, I'll gives that a shot, bulk file rename utility here I come.
