I would like to record the TV with IPTV Simple Client but the button to do it remains disabled (gray). How can I do it? Is there a specific addon to do it? Thanks in advance.
P.S. I'm running kodi in Raspberry Pi 3
The default IPTV Simple addon does not record as it is not a proper PVR backend. There is a fork that has some recording features, but the version shipped and supported with Kodi does not.

It's Now Been Fixed With Working Links of the PVR Client
Without The Installation Add-on!
But! Unfortunatly I've Only Found Links For Android (ARM) & Windows!
If you have Any common android device or a windows PC, You Should Check This Out!
It has working (VERRY STABLE) Recording, Timers, Automatic EPG & Logos
(if your privider supports it, if not, you can use your own.), Timeshifting, Parental Controls,
Search TV Show, Group Filtering (I think) etc.
Just put in the iptv site,
Imput your user & pass
And done! Choose where you want to record and enjoy!
