With the upgrade from Beta 1 to Beta 2 of Kodi 17 the DVD playback function fails on my Ubuntu 16.04 Installation.
As soon as I select "Play optical disc" from the video section Kodi crashes and restarts.
Do I have to update any external libraries as well? Can i support you with any log information?

I can't play my decrypted DVD VIDEO_TS rips in the beta either. Tried a nightly and it also failed.

I raised this as http://trac.kodi.tv/ticket/16932, and it has been fixed in the nightly builds. Thanks FernetMenta for your work in fixing it!
