I have a remote server running windows which has all my media on (i used plex for a while but thought I would try Kodi)
I'm on Jarvis 17 - Live TV linking works brilliant but when i goto files in TV Shows and add a network drive I am able to connect to and authenticate it to server without a path, but when i try adding the path, in many different forms I just get a message saying couldnt retrieve directory.
The directory is sharing and the username and password are bang on, as i say i use it for plex and a lot of other stuff, I even have a Z drive on the computer with network share to it but I cant get kodi to connect at all, any ideas?
I'm using http://username:password@ip:port/path name/
