Full Version: Crash when entering channel icon folder path

Hello,

I have to report a crash.

I would like to set a folder with channel icons. After entering the path name the GUI is blocked and from external client I have to make a reboot.

I did:
Download the icons from https://github.com/3PO/Senderlogos
Saved the icons to external mounted disk on my Raspi in a separate folder: "/var/media/ExtElec/Kanalsymbole/Senderlogos-master"
Switch to setting level "Advanced"
Switch to System / TV Menu/OSD
Entering the folder path to the mounted external disk: /var/media/ExtElec/Kanalsymbole/Senderlogos-master

After entering the path the GUI is frozen (no input will be accepted) and reboot from external client is needed (from my Ubuntu desktop via ssh)

After reboot the icons will be recognized and all seems fine in TV and EPG menus.

When switching again in System settings from General to Menu/OSD the GUI freeze immediately (Debug info values in upper left corner stopped) and reboot from external client is needed again

So I am blocked now (folder path cannot be disabled) and I have to restore a backup to come to the previous state

I have uploaded the old log file to https://paste.ubuntu.com/23412483/

Last output line at crash (before reboot) is:

1665: 18:09:00 375.082458 T:1952445344 DEBUG: COMXCoreComponent:Big Grineinitialize : OMX.broadcom.audio_render handle 0x6293a028

I did the same on my Ubuntu box with folder path "smb://../../Senderlogos-master" using samba to connect to my Raspis external disk without any problems.

Any help is welcomed.

Best regards

Its easier to set up channel icons/picons in tvheadend and then they replicate over all your Kodi instances automatically.
