Full Version: OpenELEC 6.0.3 - Filemanager deletes files *BUT* is disallowed to

Forgive me asking this question, I could not find an answer googling it neither in a forum.

Therefore maybe I'm misunderstanding something in the configuration or I'm too stupid.

In any other case I think there might be a serious problem with the filemanager.

Here's what happens: disable renaming and deleting files in the global configuration is checked, means in my understanding, not allowed. If I move with the filemanager on a file or directory on sda and make the attempt to delete this, guess what - it will be deleted! In other words a beginner can easily nuke the harddrive or any other plugged in device.

CAN THIS BE?

Yes, I read about uploading the logs, I'd like to, but this addon is marked as broken, so I can't. This does not mean, that I cannot provide information. Here are some basics:
