when playing movies or tv programes my kodi automatically goes back to menu after 30 min play time can anyone help

Where are your movies and TV shows coming from? Local source, pvr (wiki) or an add-on?

In the latter two cases, which one(s) are involved?

You have provided zero information, just a statement. How is anybody supposed to provide help?
