Is it possible to install beta 17 without touching existing 16.1 install ?
I would like to evaluate new version but still have access to stable environment.

No. The best you can do is the Kodi Krypton beta and SPMC or MrMC for Jarvis.

It seems like this is blocking factor for many to try beta software..consider for next beta program to enable such possibility.
