Hello, I am here because I really really really need help ! I have a big problem with TV Shows section in KODI
I wanted to add one arabic tv serie in TV Show and i renamed the files correctly, i checked 1000 times, there is a picture (the files are in arabic language) : http://img4.hostingpics.net/pics/663237Sanstitre.png
I then created a nfo with the title, genre and poster in the folder with the help of Ember Media Manager
But the big problem is when I go to KODI and add my source folder and set it to "tv show" with local information, TV SHOWS are empty ! I then went to the settings and was able to show just the title of the serie by checking "Show empty TV Shows"
That means my folder is empty ? I don't understand
Please Help
I am facing this problem from 4 hours now ...

Edit : I thought the problem was the name of files being the same, so i renamed them but it's not working

Yeah ... so what's the problem ? What did I missed ?
Ember Media Manager detected the serie, I dont understand why kodi doesnt

Wrong file naming!

Just rename your file according to the wiki link I gave you and it should work

Seeing as you using Ember Media Manager to make the NFO files I'd ask there.

Try adding an nfo file for each episode it must be named exactly the same as the episode so 'Al Hajjaj_S01E01.ts' should have an nfo file called 'Al Hajjaj_S01E01.nfo' This Nfo should have show name, and episode title, again the wiki will show you what it should have in it.

All of the examples shown in the screen shots use a valid naming pattern, so that's not the issue. If there are NFO files then the issue might be with them, as Kodi will try to use NFO data whenever present.

What nfo software do you recommand ?

Edit : Between, I didn't have any problem in kodi with movies with Ember Media Manager

Do you have an nfo for each episode? If not try that, as per my last post.

Yeah ! I was working on that and about to reply ! THAT WORKS MAN !!! Thank you so much, I created an nfo for each episodes with another library manager "TinyMediaManager" and kodi detects all episodes
I am so happy thank you again
Between, it's not writing on the wiki that each episodes needs nfo's ...
