Hi.
See that screenshot (it's not mine but it's Ok for explain to you): http://i.imgur.com/XB8ZDrD.jpg
The screenshot is for Estuary MOD but it's the same for Estuary.
As you can see the audio codec for that movie is "DTS".
But I have noted a "not correct" behavior.
I'm Italian and my preferred audio is Italian (so automatically Kodi will starts Italian audio track if the movie has more then one audio language tracks).
Follow this example:

Movie that has 2 audio tracks:

1. Italian: Dolby Digital 5.1
2. English: DTS 5.1

On the screen (Skin) I however see DTS, I think because it's the "best" audio track available on the entire movie file.
But if I have configured Kodi for Italian language (so automatically Kodi will starts Italian audio track if the movie has more then one audio language tracks) why it still show me DTS?
I expect to see "Dolby Digital" because for that movie this is the "best" audio track for my language.
Is not possible to show "best" audio track for the language configured to Kodi?
I'm not interested to see the "best" audio track available on the entire movie file, I'm interested to see the "best" audio track available on the entire movie file but only for my language.
Is it configurable on the Skin?
Or does it depend on how Kodi is "configured"?

Thanks!
Nothing to see with Kodi. When you rip your BluRay and remux your files in mkv container, you must choose italian as primary language.
Thanks!
What do you mean for "choose italian as primary language"?
Do you mean that the first audio track (in the list of audio tracks) should be Italian?

Your italian audio track must be on "yes" as default track and others "no".
OK, thanks, so Kodi will display the audio codec "on the screen" by reading the codec of the audio track for the track that has the "Default" flag to Yes.

Yes, Kodi show info for the default language of your file.
Thanks!
And your language file must be on top on the list in mkvtoolnix (ID must be smaller than others languages files).

Example :

Video ID0
Italian Audio Track ID1 (Default Yes Forced Yes)
English Audio Track ID2 (Default No Forced No)
Forced Italian subtitles ID3 (Default Yes Forced Yes)
Italian Subtitles ID4 (Default No Forced No)
Chapters ID5
So both conditions must matched?

1. First audio track (first in order)
2. Default flag setted to Yes
I always make my mkv like this.
hi there, are you using another skin ?
because i can not get my codec info like your picture on my screen.
i have downloaded movies on my server but somehow kodi 17 will not show the dts info and 720 info etc. did you configure that somewhere ?
