I have a Shield TV and have all my files on my QNAP TS-219. In the past I used twonky, this was a hit and miss way to access the files. Since the Shield now supports SMB I tried that, what a joke that is. I have to reboot my shield after anytime it goes to sleep to get it to reconnect to SMB.
So I decided I would try NFS using this guide http://kodi.wiki/view/NFS . When I get down to where you type "cat /etc/exports" to see that the QNAP made exported directories it shoes nothing is there. I have triple checked all the steps up to this step and as far as I can tell I have done everything the way the guide says. Anyone able to get NFS to work on their QNAP?
