Is there no new service.tvheadend42-9.0.112- # 0830..(..) for the new build?
Ah no, it failed to build and then I fell asleep. I'll try and fix it for tonight.

Is not bad, it was just a question.
Thank you very much Smile

Anyone else experience this issue still as well?

edit:got the answer.. not tagged for release yet. maybe next week. thanks, cheers!

no, I don't have this issue, running 0829 and 0825, wakes from dim without a problem.

You also have a Panasonic TV? Updating from 827 to 830 right now. Will see if it helps.

I've had a look into it (and discussed with other team members) and the recent changes are quite significant so it's going to take a few days to work out a solution - until then there'll be no more tvheadend42 updates, just use the last available zip file.

It reduces bandwidth usage when watching tv over wifi from an rpi tvheadend server. I used to use a pc with dvbviewer and always transcoded my streams when i watched tv on my smartphone. As i have many hdv channels in my list, a stable stream over wifi was not always possible over wifi without trsnscoding. With transcoding i could even watch tv over vpn.
Test build #0831 breaks compatibility with vfs.rar binary addon #0711.
Is there another built addon compatible with new test build?
For some reason my USB keyboard no longer responds to input. Its getting power, the caps light goes on and off. If I press the keys during system boot, it will be recognized and work fine, but if it boots without my input, it doesn't work. I've tried copying the keymap.xml as suggested, but the issue persists. This happened after a clean install.

I gave up with vfs a few weeks ago, even though the last updated version of vfs got things working, my pi boxes would lockup and fark around day-in/day-out, I got sick and tired of the system being so unstable, so now its keep files unpacked, and the system now runs very stable, not to mention the speed increase with startup times loading a movie and library scans take a few minutes instead of hour+

All binary add-ons need to be rebuilt due to an incompatible API change.

Don't know, if this is the right place for featurerequests. If not, please give me a hint.

I miss a function in update mechanism of libreelec: I have to restart my raspberry to update available versions from updatechannel. My pi is 24/7 on and there is never a newer version in the list before the pi is rebooted.

Thx for Your time.
Peter.

Hi Peter,

You do not have to reboot raspberry Pi, you just click on "Custom Channel 1" ( h**p://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/RPI2 ) and confirm with OK. If you now press "Available Versions" the new version is available.

The Settings tool needs a force refresh on clicking "available versions" - i can confirm new version are not shown when only clicking "available version" while system is nonstop running.

@Milhouse: can you have a look on it ?

Not only new versions, since 17.3 as far as I remember
I'm using this addon for le updates https://github.com/LS80/script.libreelec.devupdater
You are able to set check interval and you get a notification if a new build is available.
You just have to do the following modifications https://github.com/LS80/script.libreelec...r/issues/1
