nuwonda, I had that problem pop up on the nightlies a few weeks ago, oddly enough I bumped up the over_voltage (from 2 to 4) on my overclock settings and the yellow lightning bold went away and I've not had a problem since. I don't think it is suppose to work that way, but it did for me. I also use a Rpi3 w/2.5amp PSU.

(2017-03-03, 11:40)Aux_ Wrote: [ -> ]Have been able to find something about this phenomenon on the Internet.
The issue seems to be the new kernel (more than 4.8.13?) The DVB C / T stick MN88473 (dvb-demod-mn88473-01.fw) does not seem to work properly.
Under this link I had found help -->> https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread-5537.h...ht=MN88473
Now all is well again.

Is that known? If yes, I am reassured.
But if it does not, maybe someone would like to pass it on to the right place?

Thanks for the attention!

Yes, it's known that 4.9.y and later kernels are causing some issues - @CvH has been producing builds in an effort to narrow down the regression.

Thanx @Milhouse for your answer,
but is generic build not only for pc? http://cvh.libreelec.tv/Test/dvbskys960/
Temporary, I have solved it as already described by me.

But calms me that the problem is known Smile

ya, I'd rather not. besides my multimeter says the psu is providing 5.2v, no fluctuations, so I would say it's more likely a code issue or maybe its the rp3 board.

Only for Info: I just updated my Pi3 to 302 and have also the yellow flash icon at boot.
I never noticed it before with my hardware.

Edit: Also my 2nd Pi3 shows for half a second the flash icon during boot after updating to 302.

  • firmware: hdmi: Add way of forcing logging for hdmi and cec from boot
  • firmware: Redo CEC code cleanup 11: cec_release_logical_addr

CEC is fixed, and works for me (RPi3 & PanaTV) as it should.

I can also acknowledge that CEC is fixed, and works for me (Pi3 & AVR & PanaTV) as it should.
(In all previous versions in the last x month my Pana does not switch to AVR automatically when Kodi wakes up the TV & AVR explicit. With 302 it do as with the very old versions before.)

Yes "Generic" is the PC/x86 build, as this regression isn't RPi specific.

I do not think, because the problem occurs on RPi2 and RPi3.
after installing build of user @smp, [ here ] both RPi2 and RPi3 are working properly.
Builds with the newer kernel DVB-C works briefly, then there is no connection with HTCP Server. When I pulled out shortly DVB Stick from USB port, DVB-C working again for some time.

Maybe you can help:

Sorry for crossposting Blush
Thx for looking into it

Edit: Maybe someone of the Mods can merge the two threads:

I posted this bug too: 305809 (thread). FernetMenta said that it's a known bug for a long time. Seems to be independent from PVR backend.
#303 cant wake kodi from dimmed state, need to use phone app. seems that old issue is back.

btw the yellow flash icon from #302 after rainbow splash screen is gone now in #303.

Can you update libreelec repo 9? I can't use addons section!
Please!
Did anyone else notice that shadertoy performance degraded somewhere in the latest build (using #304 atm). Using the lava shadertoy screensaver it heavily stutters for me. Also a subjective feeling tells me that overall UI performance regressed a bit. (This is rbpi3 stock clocks)
