there came up the question, whether it is legally ok, to include channel logos in a pvr addon.
The idea is to have better looking logos than the ones provided by the content streamer. Therefore, a user collected the logos and put them on a uni coloured background matching to the logo.
My impression after some googling is that it is ok, as the logos are used to refer to the channel and not in the context of anything else.
Now, can someone provide here a more legally founded answer?
