i run XBMC on my macbook and when i play ac3 encoded stuff it sends audio
to the rear and center speaker (wich i ofcourse dosent have on a laptop)
is there any way to tell xbmc or alsa to only use stero audio

read the Readme.linux file and it tells you how to do it

can this be done in the windows Build? or has someone already done it?

I have this same problem in Ubuntu and I am completely lost. I am reading threads and googling around with no luck.

This readme.linux file talks about a demo-asoundrc file which I cannot find anywhere. Can you please help in linking to where we can find this file?
