Has anyone configured a mixed source EPG?

I have a MythTV backend feeding the PVR EPG. I also want to add SlingTV as a source for Live TV. I can add SlingTV info to the guide on the backend but I would need Kodi to launch the SlingTV App instead of trying to tune using MythTV. (I also don't want MythTV creating empty recordings). I have a shortcut on my homescreen to open SlingTV's application, which I can view its guide. I'd like to make it smoother so that the other TV watchers in the house can use it without getting frustrated. Just getting the app to open from the guide, and then having to select the channel a second time from within SlingTV would be a big step forward. (I don't think I can pass any parameters to the app to have it select the starting channel).

http://www.eventghost.org/ should do the trick - you can set it to pass different keys based on the application that has focus. essentially allowing you to seamlessly go between kodi and the slingtv application.

Thanks, but that's windows only and I'm looking for something within kodi. I have no problem switching between slingtv and kodi on my setup from the regular menus. I'm looking for something that can combine the EPG and then launch sling tv from that EPG, or open the channel through the PVR plugin.

Anyone tried this?
