Hello

I'm a new Kodi user and have some problems with setup my libraries.

Got two media shares on my NAS: Movies and TV-shows.. The problem is I can't get it to show artwork..

I've used Couchpotato and sickbeard to rename and download the artwork.. So now I got a bunch of arkwork in all my movies and tv-show folders

Tried adding the movie folder by:

Press "add video" clicking "browse" and choose UPnP..
I select my NAS and choose to " add by folder" and choose my movie folder..

But now my movies are locked to "folder view" I can't pick other view modes for my movie list like wall etc..

And only image showing looks to be the folder artwork

It looks like If I pick anything else then "by folder", it will display all my tv-show episodes and movies all at once.. This is not usable.. But I do get the option to choose other view modes.

So how do I setup kodi to work with my NAS?

Thank you..
Hi

I do not recommend you to use the UPnP option.

The adventage of UPnP is that it supports the tracking of file state, so watched status and resume from last watched points are shared between several machines.

For a better view of your collection, add your network instead of upnp

Thank you.. Adding the folder as smb share works..
