Hi.

I just installed kodi on RPI3 and everything works fine, but movie/picture thumbnails are not generated?
I am not using libraries, just browsing the SMB shared drive from a Synology NAS.

This worked fine on an old XBMC I was using until now on RPI1.

Did you enable thumbnail extraction in settings? It's disabled by default on RPi.

I enabled the option SYSTEM->settings->video->filelists->extract thumbnails from video files

But the comment says this is for "display in library mode"

I have all libraries and scanning set to OFF.

I checked the "Extract video information from files" and "Extract chapter thumbnails" and here are the thumbnails! Thank you!
