My Kodi froze yesterday and since then i havent been able to get it to start on my retropie. (Just black screen). i have tried reinstalling and reinstalling and removing all user data.

None of this has solved the problem and now it is missing from the packages lists.

tried apt-get install, but it hangs at 0% connecting to archive.raspberrypi.org

EDIT: never mind, just taking a super long time. i hope this is the correct way to even do it. It would be nice if i could refresh the package list some how

EDIT: Nope, it wasnt. Uninstalling.

i hope someone can tell me how to reset the packages list.....

SOLUTION:
cd ~/RetroPie-Setup
git reset --hard
sudo apt-get update

thanks but i tried that. Kodi is still missing from the list
what list? How are you generating this list?
I have had a look at the retropie website, and I think I see what you are trying to do. There is a menu in retropie setup to install kodi.

If kodi doesn't appear in the list then you need to ask the retropie people, nothing to do with kodi I think.
