Hey.
I have a Huawei P9 with kodi v.17 Beta installed on it.
My problem is that it does not start up. I get the boot screen, then it crashes.

It should have generated a debug log (wiki) - can you find that, copy it to pastebin.com or a similar site and then supply the link that they will provide here (do not paste the log directly here please).

I have updated the kodi today. Still not working. See the the NEW log.

Same here on my Honor 8 (Huawei brand) since beta7. RC also crashes at startup.

Downloaded RC2. Still crashes on boot.

No Debug Log, no issue.

Ah wait. Weird resolution phones.
Yes is a know problem but nothing new. Something with Android 7 and weird resolutions caches crash with the splash image.

Solution for now: don't use it on your phone

But this phones are still Android 6.

So what is the issue with the weird resolution? What is a weird resolution?
