Full Version: Slow Streaming & Some Streams Not Working in Krypton
You're currently viewing a stripped down version of our content. View the full version with proper formatting.
Recently have been testing various Krypton builds on many devices, from the beta to the latest nightly. It is slow to play many streams, let alone the switching speed, but its working perfectly in older kodi builds. There's also some streams which crash and refuse to play. Ive also tried these particular streams as .strm files and they also have a problem. Does this indicate a problem with Krypton or something with iptv simple client?

Seems to come up with the error with most streams, some play after about a minute and some refuse to play ERROR: DXVA::CProcessorHD::IsFormatSupported: Unsupported format 104 for 1.

Heres is a clipping of the log file

1. Partial logs are not useful.

2. Logs should be posted to a paste site like pastebin, not inline here.

3. builds are not supported, as they mainly add unsupported banned addons.

4. Get a fresh install, no builds, and come back with a full debug log.
Sorry, I meant official builds from kodi.tv have tried beta 5 until rc2, and latest nightly on windows 10 and 7 on different devices. Same type of problems.

Heres the full log http://pastebin.com/FxsKz6Dm
That's OK, now you need to turn on debugging, then restart kodi and use that log.
Thanks, turned debug logging on

It wasn't on debug from startup. Read my last message.
Sorry, I havent posted debug logs before so was unsure. Hopefully this is ok

Is there a solution for this issue ?
I have the same problem. Many streams are not loading with Krypton. I have tried with Windows and Android, with PVR Simple Client and Playlist Loader.
It all works fine with Kodi 16.1.

Not that I know of. I did find another topic about it on here though. The problem seems to improve depending on version and what stream. It mostly loads the streams slowly or a pause before playing it.
Well if you just google it ... then you see we are not alone. I Don't think it has anything to do with this plugin but with kodi in general.
Maybe we should post this else where? (another thread)

have somebody tried it in the 18.0 pre alpha?
