How do I go about forcing movies in chronological order, rather than alphabetical order?

For example, the MCU (Iron Man,The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America, Avengers etc..) I want to make sure that they are in the order of the story timeline, rather then the order of their titles.

Is there a way to do this?

go into sets and sort by date released.

If you use nfo's you can add a Sort Title, something like:

Avengers 1
Avengers 2
Avengers 3
etc

This does not change the displayed title and is only used for sorting.

you can edit sort titles when using smart playlists.

right click with mouse > manage > edit sort title
