Hi all, with the new Estuary screen when there is a visualization (milkdrop2 in this case but have tried with others) there is constantly an overlay showing the track title and play bar which I can't seem to get rid off to have the visualization in true full screen.
Previous/other skins do not exhibit this so it seems something to do with the Estuary skin. Anyone know how to get around this so I can enjoy truly beautiful full screen visualizations once again but on the Estuary skin?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Indeed no fullscreen visualisations with milkdrop2....tried TAB key, various Yatze en Kodi Core remote commands but no way...hope this can be brought back in the final release !
Installed Kode 17 RC2 yesterday, did already try and test various previous Alpha and Beta versions, as far as i can rember it worked in the beta version.
To all Kodi devellopers: Keep up the Kodi revolution, the program is amazing!!!!
I've made a
pr for this issue, there's also an
issue opened at the skin's github page, but from the non-responce (and the fact that it used to work like that but not anymore) I get that that's intended.
Eg that's how the creator wants the skin to behave. -Just a guess though, we'll see.
For now just install confluence skin, no more annoying overlay !
Besides major improvements in the new default Kodi skin, there are tons of small issues with
the new default skin in Kodi....also need to learn and adapt and try first....
My own experiences:
-Navigation through menu back and forward is a bit of a struggle seems left mouse button goes back and right goes forward
-Kodi logo often transforms in the back button option, still need ESC button sometimes as mouse only gets me stuck
-inside any repo i choose a view that suits me best, next page it goes back to default...go back also back to default view
-it auto scrolls up or down, chosing becomes harder as it scrolls high speed away from my choice
Hi all,
So i installed MilkDrop 2 and love the visuals it gives me, currently i have one issue and that is that the music player progress bar does not auto hide. I cant seem to find an option for it to autohide or even find a hotkey to make it disapear.
For me it really gets in the way of the awesome visuals and i was hoping someone here could give me a solution for the issue im having.

With kind regards,

I too would like to see this fixed, this the best media player out there IMHO, I have been using it constantly since 2006.
I have had to go back to Confluence Skin because of the impact on Music Visualization.
Would like to move forward and use Estuary now.
Thanks again for the work.
(Have donated because I appreciate the work that has gone here over the years, I urge everyone to do the same)
I don't see much attention to this, nor here neither at github on all 3 PRs that have been submitted for the issue.
Maybe you think this is something minor and insignificant, but please consider that the inability to hide seekbar and other static elements (including fanart) on music vis is a plasma and OLED TV killer.
Plasmas and oleds suffer from image retention. They tend to keep marks from static elements in their panels if they're displayed for some time, temporarily, or even permanently if done consistently.
So, right now, kodi 17 with default skin is useless for music playback if one of these TV types are used.
Just my 2 cents.
Yeah, that's obviously the DialogSeekBar.xml from the version that has been posted by phil65
here.
But keep in mind that this version is based upon the 'master-branch' of the skin, and I'm not sure if DialogSeekBar.xml is the same on master and the one that comes with kodi 17.
I hope it makes it to 17.1 though.
I have copied the DialogSeekbar.xml from master to Krypton and it works. So far I haven't seen any problems.
May I ask why this has not been backported to Krypton final, seems like an obvious bugfix?
The main Estuary dev has been on holiday and I believe it was decided that any issues didn't warrant holding back to the release of Krypton. I should think (but don't know for sure) that anything like this will get into a 17.1 release.
I'm just giving 17 a test run and noticed that I have no visualizations installed by default?
When I go to set a visualization there are none in the list and no obvious add-on direction to install them from?
I've trawled through every default add-on category and can't find them anywhere.
Where do I install visualizations from for Estuary?

Sorry - Windows.
I know in Confluence they were under 'Look and Feel' as a category but I don't see that same category when I go to Addons under Estuary in v17.
Go into My Addons ( NOT Install from repository) then Look and Feel -> Visualisation and they should be there but disabled.
