I am a total newbie to Kodi, so please bare with me.

Properly installed a couple days ago.
Then I tried the built-in stalker client. I was very careful to get the info correct.
Then I found out that there seems to be a controversy over how ti input the server URL.
Probably not a subject for this form.
Does this stalker portal actually work? Or am I a beta tester here? Does anyone else have this stalker client actually working?

Your help and advice is well taken and greatly appreciated.

17 like v16 does not handle redirection to another url address.
check to see if your server address is being redirected.
if so, use the other address.
