OK strange issue here. I run a FireTV 2 5.2.4.0 and have successfully installed all of kodis data to the external sdcard. I'm not running on root due to firmware do did the entire adb method and it works well.

However quite often when I'm out of Kodi on other apps for a long period of time or when I've left the device for awhile, clicking Kodi icon seems to launch Kodi as a default new setup. Quiting immediately and relaunching brings back my entire setup and it functions as normal.

Anyone found a reason or solution for this ? Any help appreciated.

You'll need to provide a Debug log (wiki).

Also, you can edit your title, click Edit > Full Edit.

I've seen several people saying the same without a solution so wondered if anyone else experienced the same problems.

Oh and the edit, couldn't do that on Tapatalk

Nobody else has this issue with kodi running on SDCard ??
