I am looking into Kodi as a friend suggests it.

Currently I am using a plex media server with locally stored and some cloud stored movies using Plex's services. I then access my cloud stored library on my Roku when I am away from home. I usually bring the Roku with me when I travel, hook it up to the local wifi and watch my library from the Cloud with the Plex app. My kids are in college and also access the cloud stored library on their Roku's (under my account).

Can I do something like this with Kodi?
Kodi could take the place of the Roku's, but not the Plex Server.

So, due to my existing investment (4 Roku's), there is no way to use Kodi with the Roku's and maintain the cloud server? I am better off sticking with Plex and Rokus.
If you want to maintain your cloud server then yes, you should stick with your existing setup. This thread should explain it for you further http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=298521
