I use to run Kodi Jarvis on Sony Bravia (Android) was fine until Kodi update on Kodi Krypton.. but Kodi Krypton is not working well, I have lots of issues... I have a question, how to rollback (downgrade) Krypton to Jarvis on Sony Bravia (Android)?
remove krypton then install jarvis again.
And what are the issues? I'm running krypotn since first beta and don't have any issues.
What version of Jarvis 16.1 I need for AndroidTv Sony XBR43X830C ,and where to download?
as stated before, you can't. What you can try is to install backup add-on and then save just settings and try to restore them on V16 later. Didn't try that. But you can't load sql base from v17 back to v16. But I really dont see the problem with setting either, it's not like there's a 21843891246 things to do anyway. I need like 3min to set up kodi from scratch (without scanning disks).

Hi Kinggo,
Having similar problems with a Sony X9300D. Seems to be dropping frames. Unfortunately the TV went and auto-updated the Kodi app on me.
JoyBell2 encoded x265 10-bit files are no longer playing smoothly. Watchable, but barely. Haven't played around with all the settings yet.
Search the Google Playstore for SPMC/Kodi (Jarvis) 16.5.5
No need to uninstall Kodi Krypton then.

Interesting. I disabled Android Surface Rendering (or whatever it's called) in the video settings and the frame dropping problem disappeared, but now the audio sync is a bit off. I'll probably try and reinstall Jarvis when I get a chance. BTW, the video I'm watching (and ran fine under Jarvis) is 1080p x265 10-bit. The TV does however support 4K UHD.
You should find a way to get it to work smoothly on your TV. As you've already started to discover there are enough changes that tweaking is going to be required on some devices. Jarvis is soon going to be a dead end and SPMC is moving over to Krypton soon as well.
Mediacodec Surface might not be a good option for the Mali in the Bravia TV (I think the 2015 and 2016 models have the same hardware). Re-check your audio settings as well, particularly sampling. And are you syncing frame rates?

Excellent - Thank you!
Sorry last question - Can I install this on top of kodi 17 and therefore keep all my original 16 settings prior to it upgrading itself to 17?

After the update to Kodi 17 on my Sony Android TV it no longer plays any of my MKV files that were working just fine in Jarvis. Anybody else running into this issue?
