I am using Krypton latest release with Estuary skin and I am receiving a "could not find valid content type" if I change to Experience skin 1080 it works fine.

I have the same issue on LibreELEC.
I noticed an "cannot update addon" error message on first install of kodi 17 on osx and librelec. I manually updated to the current version 5.6.0 and forced a reinstall. the addon worked correct after that. I am using aeon nox as a skin.
Edit: i only use the extended info on items in my library.
I bet you are starting it from a streaming addon, in which case you are in the wrong place for support. Provide a full debug log please and not one with the streaming addon mentions cut out.

I am launching it from the extendinfo button in the movie info screen. The log I posted is the full version no editing has taken place!!
Just tried Aeon Nox skin and it works fine, only issue is with official Estuary skin!
I have found the file and solved the issue.
