I have Kodi 18 with this mod installed on my windows pc and an Ubuntu home theater pc. On my windows pc the runtime and time of completion appear as pictured, but on the Ubuntu pc both of those are blank. Could anyone help me figure out why?

I dont' see... Runtime and time of completion are provided by Kodi (not by an addon). It's working on LibreELEC (Linux distribution). What build do you use ?

I think there's a problem with my system. I'm using
18.0+git20171022.0201-d68e7e3
on Ubuntu 17.10 (kernel: Linux 4.13.0-16-generic)

but in Kodi it shows up as
18.0-ALPHA1 Git:20121104-d68e7e3 - Nov 4 2012
try yesterday this mod with LibreELEC 9 (alpha)

[good] fast on my PI 3, faster as v1 (Kodi 17)
[bad] no EPG Widget for Live-TV (as in v1 for Kodi 17)
[bad] no logoff possible (need this for my profiles), default Estuary has not this problem

What do you mean by EPG widget ?

Logon/logoff fixed on last git.

I would like to know if it is possible to add a function which at the start of a video would display the OSD menu for a few seconds, for a fixed duration or of choice (0, 1, 2, 5 seconds etc.).
Also if it is possible to add or if a script already exists, a button that would show the associated saga in the poster of a movie.

Thank you.

Yes there are still a few worries in alpha.
On the other hand it is enough to display the OSD menu and to select 3D (glasses) and to deactivate/activate and it is good ...

No, no need to add this. If you want OSD just use remote/keyboard buttons.

Not possible to do that, except if marcelveldt add this functionnality.

Thank you for this clear answer.

Using estuary mod v2 i have created a new menu item which points to a favourite which is a folder with 3D movies. What widget do I use to show posters of these specific movies on the main screen?

You must create a smartplaylist who is pointing to your folder and select this smartplaylist as widget.

hey,

i came across a weird behaviour, when i have a widget item that opens a window direcly, say youtube settings(or some search screen), when i back out of it it will loop, meaning it will reload the screen multiple time and i have to back out of it 2 or 3 times.

so i basicly have youtube as a widget so it shows all the youtube "folders" or categories,

skin estuary mod v2 2.8.3
kodi 18.0-ALPHA1 git20171021

Can't help you for that. Keep in mind that kodi 18 and addons are in developement and not fully compatible yet.
