Noticed that the Gapless Audio playback is a lot better when PassThrough is eanbeled

Why would this be ?

Is it simply the fact that my AMP is doing the decoding so it is better than the Software (No disrespect) and my Pi 2 ?

Can I map a ON/OFF for passthrough to me remote ..whats the Keymap for it ?

how do you set up gapless audio I can't see any obvious way of turning it on.

Is it the cross fade options ?
