Just curious. Would it be interesting to build a database for animated music albums, just like the one for animated movie posters (see
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=215727)?
That database is used by several skins now through the use of the skin helper service.
I made a small demo for an app and I think it looks great.
You can find lots of great animated albums. Here are some samples:

I think I will just make a start. For now I still I have a few things to do for my app, but whenever I have some time, I will post the animated albums I find in this thread. Those will be then be added to the database.
The unique identifier will be the musicbrainzalbumid.
Ok, let me know when it's up and running with entries and then we'll talk to Marcel about updating skin helper to grab them and if he can do it

Definitely pretty cool
I prefer ones with a small amount of movement personally.

I have no idea if there are different versions available for an album, but the database will support it

I will do that (it won't be that different from the one I used for the animated posters).
I already have over 220 animated albums on my HD :-)
And there are hundreds more to find. I think I will add them in batches...
