I'm using Kodi 17 standalone (stable), Ubuntu 16.04
Since i enable tvheadend addon, i'm stuck to crash loop situation.
I try a clean, new profile all were working ok until i enable tvheadend pvr. Again at loop - crash situation.
Now I can't edit tvheadend option, since kodi crash after a few seconds. Only a clean profile is working.
I need my main profile, so is there a way to disable pvr tvheadend without entering kodi gui?
Can i do the job from text files or deleting some files from my profile?
I solve it, from home folder i open with sqlite3 editor the file ".kodi/userdata/Database/Addons27.db" and i delete two records :
1) pvr.hts
2) xbmc.pvr
Now TV settings are blank and Kodi is working without startup crash.
Tvheadend is broken
Ubuntu 16.04.02 , Kodi 17 with kodi-pvr-tvheadend-hts addon, and TVHeadend 4.1-2405, is not broken.
I just finished a clean install of all 4 and it is working.

I have exactly the same configuration :
- Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS
- Kodi 17.0
- Server Tvheadend 4.1-2405~geb495a0~xenial
- Client Addon Tvheadend HTSP 3.4.17
I try again, kodi creates new profile and starts normaly.
When i enable client addon after next logout kodi drops to loop crash.
It starts loading and crash after 1-2 seconds.

Provide a Debug log or nobody will be able to help you.

I start with empty profile, i enter login info to tvheadend plugin, i change language to greek and then crash again.

Kodi 17 wth tvheadend addon enabled crash only with GREEK language.
With English language it is working without any problem.
I try a clean install of kodi on Linux Mint 18.1, same situation as Ubuntu.
Crash at boot when i enable tvheadend client with Greek Language at interface.
Before i change the interface language, with English and tvheadend enabled, Kodi 17.1 is working without any crash.

i have the same problem with greek language. The problem is on Frontend the backend working fine with Greek Language enable.
