I use a Google Nexus 7 Gen 2 running Android version 6.0.1. Kodi 16 was running great and connected automatically to my Windows 10 network (Windows SMB). I upgraded to Kodi 17 and now it will not connect to my Windows SMB. I get a timeout error. I tried adding the network manually by giving it the SMB's name but it also could not connect. Yes, my wifi network is running just fine.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

how about giving it actual IP address?
