So, I'm running a MINIM8S Android box with Lollipop 5.1.1

I updated Kodi to 17.0, ran Kodi and said first time run and bar moving along the bottom then crashed. Kodi keeps crashing all the time now.

Anyone with any ideas?

You could try posting a debug log so we might have some idea as to what's occurring

Maybe because u using 32-bit kodi, 32-bit android then....64-bit linux build!!!!!

@onemc4you that won't cause an issue, you can happily run 32bit kodi on 64bit OS you can't do it the other way around.

Are you trying to use an SQL database for your media? It looks like it's hanging and that's normally caused by not waiting for the network to fully initialise before trying to contact the database. If so you need to remove the DB from your advancedsettings.xml and let kodi start.
If that works then you can take a look at http://kodi.wiki/view/Wake_on_lan and try some of the suggestions in there after re-adding you advancedsettings.xml

Seems to me like your addons database migration gone bad when you update kodi

Go to \Kodi\userdata\Database (sorry do not know where it is exactly on android)

You should have at least 2 addonsXX.db files. addons27.db should be the higher number

If it is the case, delete addons27.db and try to restart kodi (and hope this time the addons database migration works)

If you don't know what I'm talking about then it's highly unlikely you're using one as it's not exactly a one click setup type of thing

Can you follow the instructions in http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced as you didn't actually post a debug log just a normal one. I just thought I saw something in that anyway which could have caused your issue, obviously it wasn't the case You just need the "1.2.1 advancedsettings.xml for normal debugging" for now.

You can try a re-install but to be honest I figured you'd have already done that.
