Kodi Community Forum

Every time i try to install a repository i usually get a could not connect to repository error and this also happens with the default kodi repository also i can not install any add on's because it then comes up with a metadata error. Not sure exactly what's going on but i did not have any errors until after i was updated to Kodi 17.

I am running Kodi on three separate devices and one of those is running Kodi 16.1 I believe but the other two are having the exact same problem

Device 1: Google Pixel C Android Tablet (Kodi 17)
Device 2: Sony Bravia 4K Android TV 43" (Kodi 17)
Device 3: MacBook White Mid 2009 (Kodi 16.1) (No issues with this one)

I don't have a lot of information on this issue and i don't have log files because I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and rebooting devices that are the problem children right now.

We're still gonna need debug logs before anybody will have any idea as to what is happening.

Exactly the same with my Sony TV 4k XD70005 and my tablet Sony Xperia Z4 http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=305769 (but nobody cares apparently). If you find any solution please p.m. me. Good luck.

No debug log, then it is assumed to not actually be a problem
