Kodi Community Forum

Hi,

I have started designing a skin of my own for Kodi but in order to test anything I have to copy files over to my device and reload skin for every little thing which makes the process quite time consuming. I have tried several android emulators but Kodi either crashes at every corner or the emulator only uses android 4.4 which makes Kodi unavailable.

Is there any working emulator out there for use with this or any other trick to make testing changes a bit faster ?

Wouldn't make more sense to work on your skin and test it with the installation of Kodi on your PC?

When your happy with it then transfer it to your android device.

Moved to the skinning development section so other skinners can maybe share experience or tips on how they do it.

Wow, I wasn't aware there is a PC version. That's what I will do then. Thanks a lot!
