Hi guys,
happy to join community after over a year of lurking Wink

I have problem with proper movies library implementation. I use kodi for over a year now, but it's a first time I used this functionality.

On my external drive connected to rsb3 I have this messy "Kids content" folder. Due to some reasons I can't change it's structure much. It looks like this:

.Kids content
+ ~50 movies
- Collection_1 folder
-+ 2 movies
-- Tv series of collection
--+ ~20 episodes of related Tv series
- Collection_2 folder
... etc

I added whole Kids content as movie library and all movies were added perfectly. Unfortunately, all related Tv series episodes weren't added neither to movies library nor tv one. Also, every timy my library is refreshed, all that episodes are getting crawled (I can see that in top right corner with status updates) but nothing happens.

How should I treat those folders? Should I add them different way?
Why Tv series episodes weren't added, but keep getting crawled?
How should we treat folders containing both movies and series?

Thanks in advance for help!

Ps. Sorry for all typos, using phone
"How should we treat folders containing both movies and series?"

As an abomination. Just asking for trouble.

Seriously, you should get over whatever reasons you have for your current messy content structure and re-organize the content as the Kodi wiki recommends.

Pita to do on mobile.
Thank you all, it seems I have to rebuild structure after all.
