Hi,

Some subtitles addons, and probably other addons also, ask you to give the username and password
that you use on their website. Is this a secure thing to do? Can someone see the username and password that you give on Kodi, that you need to do in order to use an addon, that you are using on that addon's website?

Secure from what?

1. kodi most likely stores the password in plain text on your machine.

2. whether the password is sent paintext on the internet will depend on whether ssl is used by the addon.
