Hi,
I have videos in true native 10 bit color depth. How do I know (can be sure) that I am watching it native on my display? Is there a shortcut to a info screen or somewhat to check it?

Thank you for your help
press the 'o' key (the letter 'o').
that should show some info, including color depth.
Thank you, but if I would use a 8 bit per color display, would it display this, too?

How can I be sure to have TRUE 10 bit per color playback on my display?
This link should give you an idea of the resolution http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=261768, but when it comes to 8 vs 10 bit I'm borrowing this link http://www.avsforum.com/forum/139-displa...terns.html
Thank you, I did some tests, but I'm not really sure how I can be sure (!), that I get true 10 bit per color output.

In the meantime I created a 32 bit per pixel bmp with color gradient from black to white, but also this doesn't help me. But it looks better when viewing it in Irfanview (-> according to left bottom text it converts to 24 bit per pixel, so 8 bit per color)

Can you please provide more help?
Still bothering me ...Undecided
!!On my Samsung it does pop up a notification when playing HDR (and you can also notice the backlight get brighter). HDR can be a pain to debug though
