Kodi Community Forum

I've updated my kodi from 16.1 to 17.1. However, now when trying to open kodi it will not open or load. I've tried uninstalling and re-downloading and it still doesn't work. What can I do to get it to work?

Have you tried to rename the kodi settings directory, to kind of resetting everything and starting over fresh?

a) which platform, b) is there anything in the kodi.log?

Moving to OS independent, lacking any relevant information. Also, discussions is not for support requests.
