Can't find anything about add on (play on browser) being unable to install from either within kodi software, or from a .zip. it says dependency on script.module.skin.helper.artutils not satisfied. this is a brand new install on a new computer.

I think that script has been replaced by script.module.metadatautils. The author of your addon needs to update it.

if thats the case, does anybody have playon working in kodi 17.1?
can i change the addon.xml in .zip file then recompress it and make it work?
