I am new to this my firestick worked fine then it said 17.0 is stable but there is a update to 17.1 and now when I try to go anywhere it freezes up

What have you tried to rectify the issue so far?
For example have you tried force stopping and clearing the Kodi cache from the Android settings?
Do you have any 3rd party add-ons installed that may be causing problems?
Have you had a look at producing a Debug log (wiki) and posting a link to it here so we can have a look at what is going?
