Having some problems with the PVR IPTV Simple client.

It stopped working some days ago, and have even though I've reinstalled the Pi with Kodi not begun working again.
The problem is that no channels appear in the channel list.

When examining the debug logs, I see this error during boot:

ERROR: AddOnLog: PVR IPTV Simple Client: Unable to load playlist file http://xxxxxx': file is missing or empty.

If I after the device has booted go to the add-on menu, enter the configuration of the PVR client and simply click "Ok" (doing no changes) it starts to load (I see the popup stating that x number of channels have been found) and in the debug log I see it listing the channels but still none appear in the channel menu.
Error is present on both Kodi v16 and v17 on LibreElec, on v17/osmc the channels are however listed but playback doesn't work and on v17/Windows it works fine.

Any ideas on how the get it working my Pi?

Just a guess, because your information is very little: Is the source file UTF-8 without BOM encoded? I've made the experience, that a lot of file-formats won't be recognized on linux-based KODI's. You could check the encoding in Windows for example with Notepad++.

In general i would say: Loading listings from external source (https://) in m3u format ist working well. I am using it by myself (Windows, Android and three RasPi's).
