Full Version: Kodi only sees some files from Windows share.

I shared a directory with 65 movies in it. When I add it to Kodi on my Android TV, it only sees the first (alphabetical) 26 files. What's odd, is that if I remove those 26 files from the directory on the Windows machine, it will see 26 other files, but no more. So I am certain it's not a permission issue, all the user/share permissions are indentical anyway. I uninstalled and re-install Kodi which did not help, and it is the latest version (17.1).

Also, I am not talking about scraping, I am adding these files as type none.
Debug log (wiki).
Here it is: https://paste.ubuntu.com/24539704/

I do see this:

Can't find much in google, it's a Windows 10 machine.
Couldn't see anything wrong in there. Just a mention about error accessing directory.

How are these "Shares" setup? SMB/NFS/Other.

Can you run an "Update Library" in your debug log. It does not look like you did that in your other log.

What version Windows?

You say you are adding these file types as None. Do you have nfo's or do I assume you are in the Videos tab of Kodi, and not trying to find them in the Movie or TV Shows tab.

Just trying to get a clearer picture.
They are SMB, on Windows 10 Pro x64.

No .nfo files, just all .mkv movies in the same directory. I am looking in the movie tab, I added the files as type none (I tried movies earlier when I first noticed the error), and I browse movies/enter files section/movies (name of my source). The movies are not scraped just names and thumbnails, but only 26 of them instead of the 65 I see in Windows. I have previously tried kodi on this Windows PC and it sees all files fine.

Thanks for attempting to help.

Edit: If I run Kodi on the Windows machine, and add files from the SMB share, it adds all of the files.
