I have recently downloaded the update 17.3 for Kodi on my fire TV....whenever I go to Kodi and open it will not allow me to use my game remote... how can I configure the remote?

you need to make sure in the developer options that the USB debugging is off(same place in settings you had to set to on to download and install kodi). if you don't when you plug in your mouse to the USB port it won't work. then you can use the mouse to navigate in kodi and enable your game controller to work. you have to go into settings and then click on "configure attached controllers" then you have to go though the list of different buttons on your game controller and click or toggle them in order so they are recognized by kodi.
