I can only play dvd movies if they are in the DVD drive at boot time. If I try to insert a movie when XBMC is allready booted, I get the "Too Many Consecutive Failures" error. If the DVD is in when the machine boots up, it plays fine, but if I try to put in a different DVD its back to the error.
Any ideas? Thanks guys!

Actually I meant that link for a debug log, but in retrospect I guess its probably different on linux.
Actually I think I've seen a few "official" tickets show up, not sure if they are acted on or not. All in all I'd say the devs have been pretty responsive!
The "official tickets" you saw came with patches and were from people who don't have dev access.
