When I update Kodi does the add-ons update also or do they have to be updated individually.Thanks for any help

If you've got automatic updating enabled, or if you trigger a manual addon update after upgrading Kodi then you'll get any advantage addon updates too

Also, the author of the update must have updated the add-on for it to work in the new version. If the author has not updated, then Kodi will not update the add-on.
